5 Steps To Connect

1. Come to a service

Join us at 9:00am or 11:00am on Sundays or experience a Faith In Action Sunday.

2. Attend our Newcomers Lunch

Come get to know the staff and elders and more about CCC.

3. Attend Core Classes

Cumberland 101
Are you new to CCC? Here’s a next step for you. Cumberland 101 is our basic introduction of why and how we do what we do. We will cover in detail our purpose and process of how we LOVE, FEED, CONNECT & MOTIVATE (The 4 Pistons of CCC). If you are new to CCC or simply want a refresher course then this is for you! This class is offered 3-4 times a year.

Jesus 101
So you’ve been attending Cumberland for a few months and you really like what we’re all about. Or maybe you’ve been here for years and you are seeking answers to your spiritual questions. Jesus 101 is a 2-day class that will help you understand the fundamentals of what our church believes. This class takes place 3-4 times a year and is a great way to connect with who we are and what we believe.

4. Jump in and Serve

To see our list of opportunities to serve, visit our serve page. Here at Cumberland, we believe that God equips the Church with everything it needs as made clear by Paul when he wrote, “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:11–12). Everyone has a place and a role to serve in ministry, and we would love to help you find that place here at Cumberland.

5. Belong to a Community Group

God uses intimate connections with other people as catalysts for change: in us, in our relationships with him and others, in our families and in the world. Big stuff. So that’s why we pare down into small groups of six, ten or so – gatherings where you can get comfortable, share, invest, change. We believe that big impact results from the life change that happens in small community because we’re not made to do life alone.
