Financial Peace University

Echo Effect

The Echo Effect is dedicated to helping Smyrna’s youth strive to learn through education and mentoring. Our goal is to encourage forward movement through improving self esteem, motivation, and creating a positive vision of our youth’s future.

Our focus is on 3rd-12th grade, but we also work with their siblings in 2nd grade.

Mops PM

It is our hope that this evening group will be a haven for any mom in need of some emotional, spiritual and even physical support.  Being a mom is a full-time job and there is no rest for the weary, but we offer a place to connect with other moms who may be going through the same struggle right now as yourself.  Sleeping issues and potty training are just a few of the struggles we have to face head-on.  I promise you those struggles are less of a burden when you share them with friends.

So, come and check us out!  We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 7:30pm-9pm.  Childcare is available if you make a reservation, so just email us at pm@cumberlandmops.com if you are interested in bringing your kiddos and checking us out!

Precepts Bible Study

Free English Classes

Free English classes are now being offered at Cumberland Community Church. Classes are held once a week on Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 am. These classes are designed to help English language learners to improve their communication skills through practicing listening and speaking skills. They will provide the means for participants to help their children with schoolwork, improve job situations, and become a part of the English-speaking community.

Free coffee and tea will be provided.
