The curriculum that is taught in the main service, is also taught in each of our Kids Ministry areas. This allows our families to go home and continue learning from the same text throughout the week. We believe this streamlining gives parents the ability to build on the Sunday lesson and be a teacher to their children.

Our Kids Ministry is divided into two sections. The Playhouse for children 8 weeks- 5 yrs (not yet in Kindergarten) and Studio C3, for K-5th graders. We meet on Sunday at the same time as the main service.

Kids Ministry runs on volunteers! They are valued, trained, loved, and absolutely necessary!

Playhouse

From snuggly infant rooms with lots of rocking chairs to a huge space that tries to contain the energy of 4 & 5 year olds, the Playhouse has something for everyone. Bible Stories, games, fun toys, a secure check in, and tons of loving hands will make your preschooler’s morning fun and safe.

Studio C3

Worship bands, drama, games, fuseball, basketball, hula hoops, video games, lots of volunteers, and more, all work together to let these kids know they are loved and to teach them the love of Jesus. This high energy, action packed morning will leave your kids wishing it was Sunday everyday of the week! Check in under the marquee at the computer and get matching tags for parents and kids. Then after the service is over, you can do your best to convince them it’s time to go! Good luck getting them back out the door!

Special Events

Kid’s Camp: Held the third week in July. A free evening camp for kids that will teach them about the love of Jesus as they are having the time of their lives! 2010 Kids Camp: VBX-Pedition held July 19-22. 5:45-8:30pm (dinner included)
Trunk-or-Treat: Held every October 31st. Bouncy houses, games, live music, food, and candy, candy, candy!! Don’t miss this community celebration.
Big Night Out: A chance for mom and dad to get a couple hours of adult time, while the kids are enjoying a pizza dinner, friends, a movie, and lots of fun! Held quarterly.
